I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) with over 35 years of experience accurately and compassionately evaluating and treating substance use disorders. You can rely on my long and successful career to swiftly and safely restore your driving privileges.

I am a DOT qualified SAP and I thoroughly understand how intimidating the SAP process along with the DOT regulations can be for you.

My SAP evaluations include a comprehensive overview of the situation, substance use scales to accurately diagnose a substance use issue, a clinical interview and recommendations for treatment if needed.

The DOT regulations state that just for testing positive you will have to have drug and alcohol education. My job as an SAP is to determine if you need more than just the drug and alcohol education.

As an SAP, I will provide all the necessary SAP letters to the Designated Employee Representative (DER), provide you with all the necessary referrals for drug and alcohol education and/or treatment and I will manage your care throughout treatment if treatment is necessary. I will be with you every step of the way so that you can get through this safely and quickly.
